Moldova's team competed at the European Championships for Youth B cadets, which began on 23 July in the Portuguese town of Caldas da Rainha.

After average results in the swimming, our athletes still managed to overtake their closest rivals from Germany and Russia in the relay.

In the end, our athlete Valentin Samsonov finished 14th in the individual standings, and in the team event, together with Alex Vasilianov, the Moldovan team took 9th place.
