Moldova represented in the Senior category once again

After a long break, Moldova was represented in the senior category. For young Moldovan athlete Valentin Samsonov, it was his first “senior” competition.

It was a respectable performance and, although he did not win a medal, Valentin's determination and good level were noted at a competition with very fierce rivalry, as it took place immediately before the Rio Olympics.

Sofia also hosted organisational events important for our sport: the elections to the European Confederation of Modern Pentathlon. The president - Dmitry Svatkovsky - was elected for another term.

Moldova was represented in the vote by the National Federation's delegate, the national team's head coach - Alexei Vasilianov.
