2015 Championship of the Republic of Moldova

On 8-13 October, Chișinău hosted the Modern Pentathlon Championship of the Republic of Moldova. More than 80 athletes of all ages took part. The men's competition was open to athletes born in 1997 or earlier, and the women's – to those born in 1998 or earlier.

Following the 50, 100 and 200-metre swims, held on 8 October at the Sports Lyceum pool, fencing tournaments took place for cadets competing in categories “A”, “B” and “C”.

The final stage of the competition, the combined running and shooting event, took place in very difficult weather: on 13 October the athletes started in the rain, at a temperature of +5°C, at the stadium of the Technical University of Moldova.
